So, exactly what is a SYM Scooter? The name of the company is SanYang Motors (Hence SYM). The company
was once part of Honda of Taiwan before splitting three ways, one became known as Kwang Yang Motor Co. aka KYMCO, the
other SanYang Motor Co. aka SYM. Since then SYM and Kymco have been fighting
for the Taiwan and Asian market. Each company produces well more than 600,000 units per year. SYM also
has co-operation with Hyundai Korea in manufacturing of cars in Taiwan. SYM is also connected with Bombardier Recreational Products and the Kinetic Motor Company in India. Even though most SYM dealers are currently located in European and Asian markets, SYM
is making its mark in North America. In 2006, SYM was named as one of the top Taiwanese Global Brands for “its rapid
Global Expansion and excellent sales performance both in Germany and France in 2006”. SYM's exclusive
use of the Ceramic Coated Cylinder process, which applies special compound-electroplating process to disperse SiC ceramic
particles uniformly distributing on the cylinder wall. SYM is the first company to make mass produced motorcycle engines by
using their SiC ceramic coating technique. This results in excellent longevity and much better fuel economy. SYM scooters
routinely get 10~15% Better fuel mileage than their competitors. So, enough about the technical stuff... Let's get into the scooters!

SYM CITYCOM 300i An absolute beast of a scooter, it accellerates like it's powered by a nuclear
reactor. There is no lag or drag anywhere. The 16" wheels and giant brakes make it handle like a much larger motorcycle,
yet it gives up nothing in the twisties. A cavernous underseat storage area and "free" windshield make this a no-brainer
for folks in the super-scooter market. Usually to get this kind of touring capacity, you'd have to ride a much longer, less
capable scooter. Keep in mind it's fuel injected, and has the unbeatable Sym 2 year, unlimited mileage warranty. $5,498
